Soulistic Music, founded by Durban born DJ/Producer, Nkosinathi Maphumulo popularly known as Black Coffee in 2005 and was later joined by DJ Kabila and Tumelo Ruele, however DJ Kabila left the label to explore other possibilities, this is after introducing, to the label a super talented high school DJ/Producer; Culolethu Zulu better known as Culoe De Song who was only 17 years of age at that time.
The four-year-old label has had quiet a number of digital and vinyl releases under its name with different labels such as Real Tone, Awaking Monster, Innervisions, GOGO Music and Offering Recordings. Soulistic Music is by statistics one of the best selling and most loved label in this digital downloads era, hence the artist are continually being invited to perform in various events around the globe.
The labels artists have been performing in big events to crowds as big as 10 000 alongside industry veterans such as DJ Christos, DJ Fresh, Oskido, Vinny Da Vinci, Rocco (France), Manno, Abica Soul, Ralf Gum, Quentin Harris, Louie Vega, Karizma, the list is endless.
